Psalm 91:2 NKJV I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
We should only and always be trusting in God. Not in money, possessions, religion, serving, people, time or our jobs. The only One we can trust in is God. He is our shield, our hope, our safety, our strength, our deliverance, our light, our joy, our all-in-all.
All of the man-made successes, pleasures or moneys are nothing compared to the glory we will have in Heaven. None of those things are secure. At any time we could lose everything that we have struggled to attain in this life. Also, at any time, our number could be called when we would have to present ourselves before our Lord and Maker. I suggest that we present ourselves now, in every single moment of our lives, by making sure that our thoughts, attitudes, actions and opinions line up with what His will is. May we, with every breath, be doing the right things for the right reasons and be pleasing in His sight (2 Corinthians 5:9). Trust in God, nothing else. He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let’s work on building up our treasure in Heaven where nothing can corrupt it (Matthew 6:20).

Father God,
Thank You that You are our Strong Tower (Migdal-Oz) and we can trust You. Thank You for always being at work in our lives. We do not have to worry about anything. You are our everything. You are our Hope, Strength, Healer, Friend, Advocate, Redeemer and everything that we need at any time. Your love has no limits. We are Your children and You love us, protect us, guide us and provide for us. You love to give good gifts to Your children. the good gift that we would have today, Father, is to trust You more. We relinquish the reins of anything that we are holding on to and give it to You. Please take all of our fears, failures. Take all of our desires and line them up with Your word. May we only and always be pleasing in Your sight, our Rock and our Redeemer. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
