Blessedness of Forgiveness

Todays word comes from Psalm 32 NKJV. You can read the Psalm here. Psalm 32 NKJV – The Joy of Forgiveness – A Psalm of – Bible Gateway

Repent, repent is the cry. Jesus searches our hearts. He will give to every one of us according to our works (Revelation 2:21-23).

  • For those who know the forgiveness of God, our sins are covered.
  • There is misery from unconfessed sins. Nothing is hidden from God. We are rebelling against God when we try to hide our sins.
  • With confession, brings forgiveness, for our God is merciful. When we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (1 John 1:9).
  • Because of God’s forgiveness we can experience prayer, personal witness, protection and instruction. He will be our hiding place, preserving us and surrounding us with songs of deliverance.

Trust and be glad in the Lord.

Father God,

We are so thankful for Your love and Your deliverance. Thank You for the forgiveness and mercy that You have shown us. Help us to forgive and be merciful to others, as well. May we be quick to repent and turn away from our sins. May we be humble and consider other’s needs above our own. Help us to stay on the straight and narrow path that leads to life everlasting with You. We curl up at Your feet seeking Your covering, provision and protection. We exalt You as Lord over all creation. You are Lord over us. You, Yahweh-Nissi, are our banner! Thank You for everything that You do both seen and unseen. Move in our hearts and lives, drawing us all closer to Your side. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
