The poem at the top of this blog was on my refrigerator when my children were young. Having been the product of an abusive home life, it served as a wonderful reminder to me as to how to act in front of my children.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9 NKJV And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Father God,
We pray for Your guidance and instruction as we teach Your word to the younger generation. May they see Your truths exemplified in our surrendered lives. Let us never miss an opportunity to express Your greatness and instill in them the best foundation that could ever be laid. May they experience the power of loving, fearing and serving You. May they see the unparalleled joy that comes from a life of total surrender to You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
If you do not know Jesus but would like to know more about Him, including how you can be saved, please read the following blog titled,
You Never Let Us Go. God bless. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/
We just finished a couple of weeks of camp – one for teens and one for elementary age children. I appreciate your prayer. Our children need a foundation that will stand the test of time. They need the assurance Jesus loves each one.
