Yahweh Tsidqenu is the Hebrew name for God meaning, the Lord Our Righteousness.

Jeremiah 23:5-6 NKJV “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 6 In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
God is perfect and righteous. God gave us His righteousness through Jesus to all who believe (John 1:12). We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Our sin has separated us from God. The good news is that through faith, we are justified freely by God’s grace, through the blood of Jesus (Romans 3:21-26). We have to believe that God is who He says He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6).”
Out of love for Him, we want to live a righteous life. God’s word tells us exactly how to do that, which is why it is imperative to stay in His word.
Father God,
You are our righteousness. Our very best works are like filthy rags before You (Isaiah 64:6). We thank You today for Your great love and mercy. You have given us such great wisdom in Your word. All that we need is contained in Your word. Help us make the time to study to show ourselves approved unto You (2 Timothy 2:15). Thank You for Your great grace. You will give us the right words at the right time as we trust and believe in You (Luke 12:11-12). What a treasure and immense relief to be safely held in Your arms. Continue to grow in us and strengthen us to do Your will for our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
