There are many things in this world that can distract us. Satan is good at using things of this world as distractions. Stay focused on Jesus. Jesus told us to watch for His coming. He said we do not know when that will be (Matthew 24:42).
Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Father God,
We are so thankful for another day and with it another opportunity to spend time with You in Your word and in prayer and praise. We love You so much. Thank You for the ability to keep our eyes fixed on You. Who shall we fear? We have You with us. At the very mention of Your name demons run and flee. There is nothing that You cannot do. Help us to continue to put You first and to constantly reach out to You through studying Your word and prayer. We surrender our lives to You. Have Your way. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

If you do not know Jesus but would like to know more about Him, including how you can be saved, please read the following blog titled,
