It is always so wonderful to read the word of God. I love reading the King James version. Right now I am personally reading one chapter in each the OT, NT, Psalm and Proverbs. Today’s word comes from Proverbs chapter 2 which you can follow along with the link below or preferably in your personal Bible.
In order for us to understand righteousness, justice, fairness and every good way we have to receive the word of God and treasure every word in our hearts. We listen, then apply His word in our lives to fully be able to understand. We do that by seeking wisdom through studying His word.
We are all growing in the Lord. We will continue to grow and to be closer and closer to Him. That is our goal. It matters not what the world thinks, only what the Lord thinks. So we make it our goal to please Him (2 Corinthians 5:9).
Father God,
We are so thankful that You guard our paths. You protect us. You are always there for us guiding and directing us. We thank You for Your steadfastness and Your unending love and mercy. You are so good. We rejoice in Your lovingkindness. We are among men most blessed. Your hand is upon us. Help us as we grow in You. Grant us the desire to continually study in Your word and to devote ourselves to prayer. Lord, You know our hearts. Help us to do the right things for the right reasons and we will give You all the praise. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
