Matthew 2:23 NKJV

 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

Father God,

We thank You for Jesus of Nazareth. He came that we may have life. Yes, something immensely good has come out of Nazareth. Your love for mankind and Your gift to the world has come as the prophets said. He came from a lowly and despised town (John 1:46). We see the predictions of the Messiah being despised and rejected in Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53. You have fulfilled Your word time and time again. You will always fulfill what You say. You came and lived among us through Your Son Jesus of Nazareth. You are so awesome, holy and loving. You have given us so much. We are thankful for Your great love for humanity and Your fulfillment of Your promises. We love You. Thank You is not enough but it is all we have. Help us to constantly live our lives in remembrance of Your great Sacrifice. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
