Power of God

1 Corinthians 1:22-25 NKJV For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

To those who believe in Christ and are His true followers, Jesus is the Power of God. It is through Him that salvation is granted. We all must come to Jesus. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Pray with me please.

Father God,

Thank You so much for coming to this earth in the form of man. Your only begotten Son, Jesus, is Your Power for all who would believe. We believe in You. We thank You for our salvation. Thank You, Jesus, for being our Mediator. You took all of our sins on that cross and You are now seated on high at the right hand of Your Father, making us, who believe, the Father’s children as well (Luke 22:69 & John 1:12). There is no greater love. You are more than enough. It is to You that our hearts cry holy, holy, holy. We adore You. Thank You for showing Your power to defeat satan, hell and the grave. We have such sweet assurance in Your Power. We love You, Lord, and pray always and only in Jesus’ name. Amen.
