Luke 11:27-28 NKJV
And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!”
28 But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
We are to hear the word and do what we know to be right accordingly (James 1:22). Put His word into practice. Hold His word close to our heart. Read, study and meditate on the word of God. It will be then that we are walking on the right path.
Father God,
Thank You for Your word. In Your Word You show Your love for us. It is not Your will that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). It is not Your will that any should be clueless about what Your will is. Everything that we need to know is laid out in Your Holy word. We praise You for taking such excellent care of us. There is none like You in all the earth. You are holy. Your word is righteous and true. What You have said will come to pass. You are not a man that You should lie (Numbers 23:19). You are God alone and we worship You. Let Your will be done in our lives as we submit to Your way. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
