Acts 26:28 KJV Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
One word in the above scripture is so sad. That word is almost.
Paul used his own testimony to share the gospel of Jesus with Agrippa. He laid out the facts about his personal conversion. It was a very compelling story but unfortunately it was dismissed by the king. He heard the message and rejected it.
Make no mistake about it, a choice must be made by all people. The invitation has been laid out. There is no ‘almost a Christian.’ You either are or you aren’t.
Do you want Christ’s love and protection?
Do you want forgiveness of your sins?
Do you want an eternal home in Heaven?
Do you want to be set apart as a child of the Lord most high?
Do you want release from the darkness to the glorious Light of life?
Have you been on the fence but you feel the urgency of making a commitment to the Lord today?
Stop and take immediate action. Today is the day of salvation (Hebrews 3:15). Please do not turn away from Him again. Making no decision is a decision in itself. Our time on earth is short. The Bible says it is like a vapor (James 4:14). We must be ready for the Lord is coming back for His bride. You do not want to be left behind. Just say this simple prayer and mean it with all of your heart. Trust me this is the best decision you will ever make. God loves you!
Dear God, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I admit to You that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need Your forgiveness.
I believe that Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.
You said in the Bible that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that You raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved (Romans 10:9).
Right now I confess with my mouth, Jesus is my Lord. With my heart, I believe that You, God Almighty, raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own Lord and personal Savior. According to Your Word, right now I know I am saved by the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Friend, if you have prayed that prayer, welcome to the family of God. I rejoice with you. There is joy in heaven over your choice (Luke 15:7)! Let me know in the comments section. Praise the Lord!
If you already know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, pass this on to a friend, family member or loved one that you know needs the Lord.
