For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies. While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 5:1-5 NLT
Life doesn’t end when your physical body dies. Eternal life begins the moment you close your eyes in death. There will be no do-overs when you reach the end. You will be unable to go back and change anything. Your fate awaits from that moment on. What you have chosen will then be rewarded.
Have you chosen the free gift of salvation available only through Jesus the Son of God? If yes then heaven awaits you. Have you rejected the gospel? Then eternal separation from God awaits you. Hell is a literal fiery place prepared for satan and his demons. It is not the will of God for you to go there (2 Peter 3:9). He has given His all on the cross (John 3:16). All you have to do is believe and accept His precious gift (Romans 10:9-13). The choice is yours. But be very sure of this thing. We will all face eternity some day. The Bible says it is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement (Hebrews 9:27). Please come to Jesus today. There might not be a tomorrow. This is urgent business. You absolutely cannot put it off any longer. Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart, come to Him (Hebrews 3:15).
Father God,
You are righteous and holy. Your word is truth. You are our Strength, our Help and our Victory. We praise and honor You. We come before You today asking that people’s eyes would be opened to the truth of the gospel. We plead the blood of Jesus over those who would come to You. Let nothing keep them from making the best decision of their life. Thank You for everything. We love You with all of our heart, mind and soul. May Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
