Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

Acts 3:26 NKJV To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

Jesus came to this earth to bless us and to save us from our sins. When we turn to Him and away from our sins we can then find true happiness and such joy. In Him is peace (Ephesians 2:14). Not only is He the Originator of our faith, He is the Completer-Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Philippians 1:6 NKJV  being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ

Pray with me please.

Father God,

We believe in You. We trust that You will complete the work that You have started in us. Help us to keep our eyes on Jesus and not on the things of this world. Our hope and trust is in You and the completed work at the cross of Calvary. We have been redeemed, set apart and chosen. We are loved by You and we love You so much. Help us to always do the right things for the right reasons. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
