Proverbs 12:20 NKJV Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.
Evil makes evil and reverberates back to the heart of the one who is planning it. To deceive is to lie, to cover up the truth or just give part of the truth.
We have been given peace (John 14:27) and we are to bring peace. Jesus said, “And whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house (Luke 10:5).’”
In every area of our life we need to seek that which is good and pursue peace, harmony and unity. Then we will have joy, peace and satisfaction in knowing that we have done what is right and good.
Father God,
Oh, how we need You. Please let Your peace envelop us and exude through every orifice of our beings at any moment in our lives where Your gentle presence is needed. Help us as we continue to seek You in our walk towards maturity. May we be doers of Your word and not hearers only (James 1:22). May there be peace where we go and to those we are around. Please dispel the darkness (John 1:5). Give us the words of encouragement that we need to offer others of the blessed hope of Your truths that are outlined in Your word. The specific truths to their situation that will shed light on the darkness, bringing peace and joy to those who are receptive to it. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Thank You Lord.

Yes He does. I am so thankful that He provides us with peace and even the ability to speak peace. Our God is awesome in all of His ways. Always giving us everything that we need. Praise His holy name forever! Hugs sis. ❤
