2 Corinthians 5:18-19 NKJV Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
We are saved through faith in Jesus, therefore we are reconciled to God. He then gave us the ministry of reconciliation. We are to draw others to faith in Christ. He is the only Way to the Father. We must show others His great love through our dedication to Him and our submitted lives. The best way to lead others is by example. Show them Who Christ is by displaying His love for all mankind, not just to those who love us back. We have to as the following song says love the unlovable, reach the unreachable and do the impossible.
We are not going to reach others with haughtiness or being high-minded, but rather with love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, self-control (Galatians 5:22-23) and Godly submission (James 4:7). We have to humble ourselves. It isn’t about us. Our lives become about God. What does He want?
Father God,
What a wonderful job we have in being Your ministers of reconciliation. Drawing others to You through faith in Jesus. We believe and we know You, therefore we are to share the joy of salvation to all others. Grant to Your children boldness that we may speak to any and all that You have in our path (Acts 28:31 & Ephesians 3:12). Help us in our weaknesses to be strong in Christ (2 Corinthians 12:10). Oh, Lord, we praise You. We exalt You. We thank You for loving us and for giving us everything that we need to go and share the Good News with others (Matthew 28:19-20). Thank You for the Holy Spirit Who will speak through us and give us the right words at the right time (Mark 13:11). We trust in You to work all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
If you aren’t saved, maybe today you would like to make the personal decision to know Christ as Your Lord and Savior. Please say the following prayer or something similar and mean it with all of your heart.

Hi Warren. Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you and yours are doing well. We just got finished winterizing outside. I was a little help because I still have a cast on my foot. Hopefully it comes off this Wednesday. God bless.

In place of submission, my Bible translation says “kindness.” To Jesus I submit. To my husband (usually), but to others? It depends!

In our submission to God, we submit to others, as we learn what His will is for our lives. We don’t get all haughty and defensive because we have learned to humble ourselves. We aren’t going to win others to Christ by being the same as they are. It is only going to happen as we submit to God and do what He wants us to do in every situation in our lives.
May His blessings be upon you today. Hugs. ♡
