Acts 10:34-43 NKJV Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. 36 The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all— 37 that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. 40 Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, 41 not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. 42 And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. 43 To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.”

As Christians, we are not here to believe in or cause any division. We are here to spread the Good News of the gospel to all people everywhere. We are here to love all people. The color of our skin should make no difference in how we love. The way others talk should make no difference to how we love. The way others wear their hair or how they dress should make no difference in who we choose to love. Jesus, our Lord and Savior died on the cross for all mankind, even the ones who were crucifying Him. He said, ‘Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do’ (Luke 23:34). Our ministry is to be a ministry of love, one that brings people from all walks of life together, not one that causes division. God shows no partiality and neither should we.

Father God,
We are so thankful for Your word. You bring enlightenment with every page that we read. We praise You and thank You that You created man in Your image (Genesis 1:26). You are mindful of us (Psalm 8:4). You care for and think of us (Psalm 144:3)You love us (John 3:16). You provide for us (Luke 12:24 & Philippians 4:19). You are so amazing God. Truly there is none like You in all the earth. Help us to love and accept others for who they are (people that You love and died for). Help us to look beyond race, hair, clothes, what they drive and where they live. Those things matter not. We will all be living together in Heaven together as one family, one people, one church. We should be united now as well. Help us to lay down any and all barriers and just to treat others how we want to be treated. May we love like You do. Help us to love even those who speak evil about us and thereby show that we are true disciples of Yours. Thank You for Your word. May we bring honor to Your name in all we do and in all we say. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I try never to get caught up when there is confusion. I retreat to another conversation. Those types of things will only destroy you and relationships.

That is a good thing to do. I always want to be right in God’s eyes and not in man’s eyes. Sometimes conversations can get heated and ugly and it is best to leave those, unless we were to feel that the Lord would have us to say something. He is always the author of peace. He sure put the Pharisees and Sadducees in their place sometimes. May He use our lives to only and always bring Him glory.
God bless you sister. Sending hugs until that day we meet in Heaven and can hug there. May He open your eyes to the power that He has bestowed upon you. In Jesus’ name.
