In the book of Acts chapter 5 verses 1-11 we read how Ananias and Sapphira tried to lie to the Lord. Here is the link for the whole chapter. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts+5&version=KJV;NKJV Honestly, as if God didn’t see the amount which they sold their land for. Why were they even playing with God? They were not all in, for their deed was made evident to all. May this be a lesson to us, today, as well.
There is nothing that is hidden from God. He knows what is in our hearts (1 Samuel 16:7). Do not try to deceive Him. There is no playing church. You either love God or you don’t. You either want to serve God or you don’t. He is either first in every aspect of your life or He isn’t. Choose who you will serve. Either God or satan. Your choice, but don’t play games with God. He knows everything and one day your name will be called. What will you say? Will you run to Him or hang your head in shame? It is your choice.
Joshua 24:15 NKJV And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Father God,
How precious are Your thoughts towards us (Psalm 139:17). You love us so much (John 3:16). You have given us so much. Oh, how we thank and praise You for all that You are and all that You have done, will do and are doing. You are God alone. There is no other. We are so safe in Your arms. What a treasure we have to be called Your children (Romans 8:16-21). Help us to listen, really listen, to what You want us to do with this brief life that we have. One day we will hear You call our name. We so want You to say, ”Β Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord (Matthew 25:21).” We love You with all of our heart, mind and soul (Matthew 22:37). Please be with us and guide us in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:24) and we will give You all the praise. Praying always and only in Jesus’ name. Amen.

True Donna! Nowadays people make God into who they want Him to be instead of going by what His Word says about Him. However, if we love Him we will keep His commandments. He sees and knows all.
