Nothing Can Stop the Lord

Acts 5:19-20, 22-23 NKJV But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20 “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.” 22 But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported, 23 saying, “Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

What power our God possesses! There is nothing that He cannot do. The apostles were wrongfully incarcerated for preaching the name of Jesus. The Lord sent an angel and released them. Our God does the miraculous. He got the apostles right by the prison guards and through locked doors to teach the people and show His power. Pray with me please.

Father God,

How awesome and mighty You are. None can compare to You. You are holy and righteous. We worship and adore You. Fall fresh on us, Your children. Awaken us to the beauty of Your love, will and way. Let us go forth and be changed by Your power at work in us. May we walk in the fullness of Your strength. Help us to shine forth in this dark world. Let our lives be a living testimony. We need You, every second of every day. We long to be pleasing in Your sight. Forgive us for our failures and strengthen us for the battles that may lie ahead. Help us to stay at peace in Your presence. You and You alone give Your Spirit to us to help us (John 1:12 & Romans 8:14-17). We deny our flesh and we resist satan (James 4:7). We claim victory over all of his schemes in the mighty name of Jesus in whose name we pray. Amen.

  1. You are quite welcome. Thank you for the encouraging comment. I will agree with you for your breakthrough. May you feel and experience His peace and joy as you wait on Him. May His will be done. May this breakthrough bring Him glory as you testify of His power to others. In Jesus’ name. Hallelujah! Give Him praise! He is worthy. He will work all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Claim His promises and give Him worship. Oh, that men would praise the Lord (Psalm 107:8). God is good. He is merciful. He is loving and kind. Praise the Lord. Praise Him in and through any storm. Praise Him before you get your breakthrough. Praise Him for knowing He and He alone will answer. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord (Psalm 150:6).
