Proverbs 13:19 KJV The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
When our desire of things that are good and right are brought to fruition, we are filled with joy and comfort. In contrast for the wicked to abandon the evil for which they cling to so fondly is detestable in their sight.
The Bible says woe to those who call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20). How sad that the wicked will never know the peace and joy that Christ followers possess.

Father God,
We love You. We love every word that You speak to us. Help us to desire the things that make You happy and not to desire things that will pass away and have no meaning. In You is Life and the Light of life. We cling to You. There is nowhere else that we want to be. Let us continue to spill over with love for others that comes from You and You alone. Have Your way in our hearts, homes, lives and world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Yes we do thank God for our Veterans. My husband’s dad never came home from Viet Nam. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. My husband never had the opportunity to even know him. All that he has is a picture on the wall and the medals. The price of freedom is very high and we appreciate our Veterans. May the Lord bless them all in Jesus’ name.
Hugs Jan ❤
