John 13:34-35 KJV A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
There is no middle ground. If we must hate, we should hate the things that the Lord hates and never the person who does the things!
Proverbs 6:16-19 KJV These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
1 John 4:7-8 KJV Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Your word is so clear to understand. We must love. There is no room for hating any person. We must walk in love. Help us to continue to die to the flesh and live in the Spirit. Hate is wrong and it is so consuming. We ask that if there is anyone that we have been hating, that You would open our eyes to the truth, and we would be able to repent. There is no place for hate. The only doors that we want to open are doors of love, compassion, mercy and understanding. Help us, who are Your children, to love as You love and be merciful as You are merciful. We need You in our lives. Let every breath we take bring glory to Your name. We plead the blood of Jesus over ourselves, our homes, our finances and our relationships. Thank You for helping us love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
