Grace Under Pressure

 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. ⁴ And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. ⁵ And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Do we know how dearly God loves us? Have we stopped lately to consider this and to thank Him? He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love. The Bible is so amazing. Every word of God is true, powerful and life altering.

Father God,
How wonderful, awesome, holy, mighty and righteous You are. Thank You for Your great love and provision. You surround us, fill us, empower us and fight for us. We are so grateful for You undying love for all humanity (John 3:16). We cannot even begin to grasp the depth to which You love. Your love is permanent and not based on conditions. You loved us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). You hold all mercy and grace. We ask that You would continue to empower us with the grace that we need to develop our character. May others see You in us is our cry. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
