Live New Lives

Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

paul-Romans 6:1-4 NLT

Dead to sin and alive in Christ. It is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me (Galatians 2:20). We have the power of the Holy Spirit living in us and guiding us in all truth. Therefore, we do not have to worry or fear. God is in control. Just trust Him.

Pray with me please.

Father God,

We thank You for the power You have given us through Your Holy Spirit living in us to deny the flesh and live our lives pleasing and acceptable in Your sight. You give and give and then give some more. We are so blessed. As we go along this life please continue to lead and guide us in all truth. May we make You happy with our surrendered lives in all we think, do and say. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. Yes, indeed, {{{Donna}}} I am praising our Lord with you. Thank You, sweet Jesus, because “ You give and give and then give some more. We are so blessed.” if only I could give You something in return! You already have my heart! ❤️👌🏽

    1. You do Jan. Remember every time that we give even water to someone in Jesus name we are doing it unto Him. I see you giving ‘water’ of your time with the elderly. I am sure there is more you do for Jesus and just don’t realize it. May you be blessed and feel His presence in Jesus’ name.
