Holy Spirit Power

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. 14 He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.’

John 16:13-15 NLT

The Spirit of God teaches us and guides us in all truth. He goes before us leading the way.

Pray with me please.

Father God,
We are so thankful for the gift of Your indwelling Holy Spirit. We are thankful that You sent Jesus to save us from our sins. We are thankful that Jesus sent us the Spirit of truth to guide us in all things. We are thankful for Your word showing us the unique relationship of how You are one with Jesus and the Spirit. We ask that our hearts be receptive to Your word, that our eyes would seek Your truths and that our ears would be attentive to what Your Holy Spirit is saying. We ask for a teachable and humble spirit that we might fully obey You in all things. We lay our all at Your feet. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. Thanks for the prayer Donna. I am thankful for the Holy Spirit. You mentioned humility in your prayer, I was reading another post earlier that also spoke of humility. Humility is much needed for us to be effective in our Christian walk. Have a Merry Christmas! 🎄

  2. You are quite welcome. Yes and amen we need humility to be effective for Christ! I love when the Holy Spirit moves different people to write about the same things. We have a lot to learn sister. I am still learning. Praise the Lord! Merry Christmas to you and your family, as well. Hugs. Special unspoken prayer request. Thank you in advance.
