And Mary said:
Luke 1:46-55
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
48 For He has regarded
the low estate of His servant;
surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed.
49 For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is His name.
50 His mercy is on those who fear Him
from generation to generation.
51 He has shown strength with His arm;
He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He has pulled down the mighty from their thrones
and exalted those of low degree.
53 He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich He has sent away empty.
54 He has helped His servant Israel,
in remembrance of His mercy,
55 as He spoke to our fathers,
to Abraham and to his descendants forever.
Praise God! He is worthy of all praise. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Rejoice in Him, our Savior. God is mighty and holy. God is merciful. God does what He wants to. He is in charge of all people’s positions. Everything He does is wise, fair and good. God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy (Romans 9:15). God knew mankind needed a Savior. He provided the only Way back to restitution with Him through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! Hallelujah! Thank God for His great love and mercy. He has helped Israel. He helped us all. We were all lost and without hope in this world. Then God stepped in. God provided The Way for all of humanity.
Father God,
We are so tremendously thankful for the powerful gift of Salvation that was wrought for us through Jesus Christ our Lord. If there are words, we do not have them. We just cannot put into words how much we love You and praise You for bridging the distance between mankind and Yourself with the gift of Your Son. Please accept our offering of praise today for all You have done. Thank You Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
