17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
Psalm 34:17-19 MEV
and delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to the broken-hearted,
and saves the contrite of spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
God hears our cries. He has in times past and He will continue to deliver us from all of our troubles! He is faithful. The Lord is near to the broken-hearted.
The Hebrew and Greek words often translated “contrite” actually mean “crushed, crippled, or broken.”

He continues to save us from the flesh. The Bible says we must suffer many hardships to enter the kingdom of God (Acts 14:22). It is comforting to know that God has us in the palm of His hand (Isaiah 41:10 & 13). He is our strength when we are weak (2 Corinthians 12:10).
A good way to chase the blues away is through praise in song.
Let God fight your battles. Just surrender to Him in prayer and in worship. You are His child and He cares for you.
Father God,
How we thank You for being there for us at all times. We can depend on You for comfort, guidance, strength and joy. You help us, hold us and heal us. You love Your children. How wonderful You are. We love You! It is so comforting to know that whatever we may be going through, that You are with us and You care for us. Oh, hallelujah! Praise Your glorious name! You are good all the time and we worship You. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
