One corrupt heart is like another; so are sanctified hearts: the former bear the same image of the earthly, the latter the same image of the heavenly. Let us carefully watch our own hearts, comparing them with the word of God.

Those who have a genuine heart for God will see the same qualities of love, mercy, and kindness in others that they see in themselves. The same goes for people who are filled with evil desires. They will be happy and unified with those who are filled with worldly desires.
Father God,
Help us to display the fruit of the Spirit at all times and in all situations (Galatians 5:22-23). Strengthen us that we would walk in the Spirit, so that we do not fulfil fleshly lusts (Galatians 5:16). Help us to live a meaningful, clean and sober life that would bring honor unto You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
