14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in victory through Christ. God uses us to spread his knowledge everywhere like a sweet-smelling perfume. 15 Our offering to God is to be the perfume of Christ that goes out to those who are being saved and to those who are being lost. 16 To those who are being lost, this perfume smells like death, and it brings them death. But to those who are being saved, it has the sweet smell of life, and it brings them life. So who is good enough to do this work? 17 Certainly not those who are out there selling God’s message for a profit! But we don’t do that. With Christ’s help we speak God’s truth honestly, knowing that we must answer to him.
Paul-2 Corinthians 2:14-17 ERV
May our lives, all of our thoughts, our desires, our dreams, our motives and all of our actions be a sweet aroma to the Lord. May He smile seeing us and one day say, “Well done.” We can do this life. We have the ability to live in a way that is honoring to God. It will take humility and self-sacrifice. We must die to the flesh and live in the Spirit. God is able to help us. We just need to stay in the Vine, bask in His presence and lean not on our own understanding. We are to acknowledge Him in all things (Proverbs 3:6). Oh, how much better our lives would be if we started our days by acknowledging Him.

Father God,
How wonderful You are, how righteous and true is Your word. You bring peace and joy to all those who accept You. You are good, Lord and Your mercy extends forever. You give us all the instruction that we need in Your word, and You give us the power through the gift of Your Holy Spirit to overcome satan and the flesh. You are awesome! We give You the highest praise. Thank You for loving us so much, Lord. We ask that every day You would fill us with Your Holy Spirit’s power to overflowing. Help us to be a blessing to others. May everything we say and do give off the sweet aroma of Christ. The world is dark and hurting. They need to see Your light in us. Thank You for giving us the power to do all things through Christ who strengthen us (Phillipians 4:13). Hallelujah! Glory to Your holy name. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done (Matthew 6:10). In Jesus’ name. Amen.
