27 He who gives to the poor will not lack,
But he who hides his eyes will have many curses.
Proverbs 28:27 NKJV
God uses His children to bless others. Whenever we have the opportunity, let us consider ways to do good. One such a way is to give to the poor. God always provides for us as we give to others in need. His word even says,
If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord and He will repay you (Proverbs 19:17).
Father God,
We are so thankful that You are always here for us. Through good times and in bad. Your love never changes. You never give up on us. When we need You, You are always right on time. We ask today for the ability to give to others. Place someone in our path today that we can help somehow. We love You and want to bring honor to Your name. Let our lives be the proof of Your love. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
