Righteousness will go before Him,
Psalm 85:13 NKJV
And shall make His footsteps our pathway
I was reading Psalm 85 this morning and these words just came alive to me. As long as we stay surrendered to God, He will make His footsteps our pathway. He will direct our steps. We can live holy lives by His power at work in us. Isn’t that such a beautiful, powerful and encouraging word for today? God, our Father, the Maker of Heaven and the Maker of earth shall make His very footsteps our pathway.
Father God,
We are in awe of You. Thank You for giving us this word today. We are able to do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). You give us the power and strength. We are walking in Your footsteps. That is so wonderful and amazing. Thank You so much for Your care and provision. We pray along with the book of Colossians chapter four verse twelve that You would make us strong and perfect (fully mature in You), fully confident that we are following Your whole will. We love You and want to please You in everything we do and say. We are fully committed to living lives that honor You. We can with Your help as we walk in Your steps. Thank You Lord. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
