Love and Serve the Lord

² I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
³ I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
⁴ A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

Psalm 101:2-4 KJV

Are we trying to behave ourselves wisely? Have we made His rules our guide? Are we trying to do our best? God knows our hearts. May it be our desire to please Him in all we think, do and say.

Pray with me please.

Father God,
We surrender to You. Your will and way is perfect. We will lay down our will and pick up Yours. Give us the strength to resist any and all temptation. Give us wisdom to know when something we are listening to, watching, doing or saying is wrong so that we can walk away (James 1:5). May our motives, choices and desires be pleasing to You, oh great King of kings and Lord of all creation. You are awesome and You are holy. We worship You and You alone. Let us always and only be found doing what is right through Christ in Your sight. (Philippians 4:13). You have given us Your Holy Spirit to lead and guide us in all truth (John 16:13). We ask that when we ever do that which is wrong, that You would correct us immediately so that we can be repent and be in right fellowship with You. Thank You for Your great love, mercy and compassion. May we give to others as we have freely received of You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
