4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Paul-Galatians 4:4-7 NKJV
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
God loves us all so much. He sent His Son to redeem us (John 3:16). We, through acceptance of Christ Jesus, are sons and daughters of the Lord God Almighty. We are no longer servants to the law or slaves to the flesh (Romans 8:2-4), but children of the God of Heavens armies! We are His heirs. We get salvation, eternal life and whatever God gives us in Heaven! This is all through our belief, trust and acceptance of Christ Jesus.
Father God,
Thank You for adopting us as Your children. Thank You for giving us an inheritance that will never fade or perish (1 Peter 1:4). May we ever be mindful of the treasure that we have in You. All of our time is held in Your hands (Psalm 31:15). You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 22:13). You are everything to us. You are our strength, our hope and our all in all. You are the reason we celebrate Easter. Help us to express Your love and loyalty to those in this family of Yours. We want to thank You for sending the Spirit of Your Son into our hearts crying out, “Abba Father.” We ask that Your Holy Spirit would help us to live for Jesus till the end. Give us the power to be more than overcomers through Christ (1 John 5:4 John 16:33 & Romans 8:37). Give us strength so that no matter what happens we will continue to stand for You and what we know is right according to Your word. How wonderful that You know everything about us. You know our strengths and weaknesses and You love us anyway. We ask You today for Your help in living our lives worthy of the calling we have received (Ephesians 4:1). May everything we do and everything that we say bring glory to Your name. We pray asking all things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
