11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
Psalm 5:11-12 NKJV
Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;
Let those also who love Your name
Be joyful in You.
12 For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;
With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
We can trust God. His word and all of His promises contained therein are true. No matter what is going on in our lives or in the world around us. God is faithful. Everything that we need is found in Him. We have no need to fear. Let us rejoice before Him. I am sure we have all shouted at one time or another in our lives. Whether it was the birth of a new baby, the win of our favorite sports team, an engagement, a promotion, a gift or any other exciting things that may happen to us, we have celebrated something maybe several things with a shout. The Bible tells us here to shout for joy. And why is that? Because God defends us.
Father God,
What a privilege it is to come before Your throne, to know that You are always there and that You care for us so deeply. Great is Your love! Awesome are the works of Your hands! Holy and righteous are You! We shout Your greatness! There is none like You in all the earth. You reign supreme. You are over all. You are awesome and amazing. Today we do shout out loud our God is great and worthy of all praise! Hallelujah! Glory to Your name. Thank You for being our Defender. We know that whatever may come our way, You are there. Thank You for blessing us. Thank You for Your favor. We love You so much. What a joy to read this today. Thank You for awakening us to the truth. We have such great reasons to shout for joy! Help us to lay down any inhibitions and truly shout for joy today. May we shout out loud Your greatness and never be ashamed. We are so blessed. Thank You for the excitement and joy You bring to our hearts when we shout out Your praises. You feed our souls and flood us with joy. Blessed be Your wonderful and holy name forever! Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
