We have to remember here that Job had just heard that he lost everything. He lost his livelihood; his children and his workers were killed. And what did Job do? He tore his robe and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. I found it so remarkable that among the top three things that Job did when faced with such an inconceivable amount of loss was to worship the Lord! May that be our attitude as well no matter what happens in our life.
We could never say enough how wonderful You are. Your thoughts and ways are so much higher and better than ours. You are awesome. We are so blessed to be Your children. Thank You for Your great love. May we live our lives in a way that is pleasing to You. You are in charge of our lives. We have surrendered to Your will and we trust in Your protection. May we always praise You through all things. You are holy and You are worthy of all praise at all times. Please continue to grow in us and as Jan (a Christian sister) said before on one of my blogs; may our wills start lining up with Your will, for Your will is perfect. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Oh, Lord, please have Your way in every area of our lives. May we never miss an opportunity to do what You have planned for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
