Blessed are those who mourn,
Matthew 5:4 NKJV
For they shall be comforted.
Have you ever mourned for the sin that is in this world? When little children are hurt? When wives or girlfriends are abused? When people flippantly curse God or use His name in vain? There is so much sin in this world. Sometimes it hurts to see. There may have been something you saw on the news or something you read and it grieved you. Just remember we shall be comforted. God will wipe every tear from our eyes. One day there will be no more heartache, and no more sorrow.
Father God,
Thank You for creating us with the ability to love others. The heart that You have created in us has the ability to mourn deeply when we see the evil around us. Sometimes we are so broken. There is no point in trying to hide it from You. Everything is visible in Your sight. You see it all, every heartache, every pain, every tear. Help us, dear Lord, to turn to You with any and all burdens. We praise You in all things. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
