Blessed are the merciful,
Matthew 5:7 NKJV
For they shall obtain mercy.
The online definition of mercy is compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm. A great way to be merciful is by treating others the way we want to be treated (Matthew 7:12). Love others. Be kind, tender and compassionate in all things to all people. May we always stop to ask ourselves, “Would what I am doing right now to this person be the same thing I would want them to do to me?” We have to be merciful and forgive automatically. Jesus never held grudges against anyone and neither should we. It is not our place to judge. We are only to love and show mercy and compassion.
Father God,
We are so thankful for the love and mercy that we received freely from You for everything that we have done that is against You. Thank You for Your grace and compassion. You picked us up time after time. You have held us when we hurt, strengthened us when we went through trials and You gave Your mercy to us on the cross when it is in Your power to punish us for our sins. You have shown us how to be forgiving. You are awesome. We do not deserve such great love, yet You give so freely to all those that ask.
Father, if there is anything that we have done wrong please forgive us and help us to start doing mercy the right way. Help us to live out what we know to be truth according to Your word and by Your great power living in us. We are so blessed to be Your children. We love and adore You and want You to be pleased with us in everything we think, do and say. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Hello! I am icing my hand and elevating it – using my right hand to browse and respond. Glad it’s not my dominant hand that’s incapacitated! Praying with you, {{{Donna}}} and sending hugs your way. Dear Lord, “Help us to live out what we know to be truth according to Your Word,” Amen.

He is doing good. They think he may have had a seizure while sleeping the other night because he woke up tired and acting funny. Thanks for asking. They have him in a soccer team and bought him a dog. Thanks for your support. Hugs.
