Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Remember that those who endure to the end will be saved (Matthew 10:22). It is hard to have to suffer any thing at all. But is quite the comfort to know that when we are falsely accused and we endure than it is acceptable in God’s sight (1 Peter 2:20). May we always seek for Him to give us strength to endure. He is our only hope. We can do all things through Christ. So just keep loving others no matter what they do. Keep showering them with mercy, forgiveness and grace. God is watching. He will sort it all out in the end.
Father God,
We do rejoice in You. We are so thankful for all that You do. You are always at work in our lives. You want good things for us. We understand that we may not always be treated right even when we are doing all that is right to do. We ask that You would give us the strength that we need to handle everything that comes our way in a manner that is pleasing to You. Thank You so much for being with us. We love You. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
