Beware of False Teachers

Why can’t you understand that I’m not talking about bread? So again I say, ‘Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.’” 12 Then at last they understood that he wasn’t speaking about the yeast in bread, but about the deceptive teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Jesus- Matthew 16:11-12 NLT

It is up to us to have a desire to study the Bible and to know that which is truth. There are many deceivers out there teaching things that are contrary to the word of God. Don’t be deceived. Dig into His word daily and find the truth for yourself. The Pharisees and Sadducees wanted a sign. What we want is to grow closer to our Lord. We do that by daily seeking Him through prayer, Bible study and fellowship with other believers. He then reveals the truth to us.

Pray with me please.

Father God,
Oh, how we love and adore You. There is no one like You in all the land. You fill our hearts with joy. You give us peace, strength and victory. Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory! You reign. You are King over our hearts. We submit to You. We ask that You would have Your way in our lives. Give us more of a desire to know You more and be closer to You. There is no greater prayer than to be closer to You. Your love fills us and brings tears of joy to our eyes. You are good. You are worthy of all of our praise. We worship You alone. Thank You for Your many blessings. Enable us to fulfill Your will for our lives. May we never miss an opportunity to do that which You have given us to do. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
