46 The Lord lives!
Psalm 18:46-50 NKJV
Blessed be my Rock!
Let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47 It is God who avenges me,
And subdues the peoples under me;
48 He delivers me from my enemies.
You also lift me up above those who rise against me;
You have delivered me from the violent man.
49 Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles,
And sing praises to Your name.
50 Great deliverance He gives to His king,
And shows mercy to His anointed,
To David and his descendants forevermore.
In all of our times of trouble may we always call upon the Lord. It is He who will save us. He who will deliver us. He who will comfort us. He who will heal us. He who will strengthen us. It is He our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16-18).
Father God,
We are so thankful to have You as our Father. You are the One we can come to at all times and in every situation. You love us and will handle any and all situations that arise in our lives. We have security and trust in You. Thank You for Your loving care. You are able to conquer our enemies. You have defeated the grave. You are our Lord and Master. What great joy we have in turning to You. You are alive! We bless Your holy name. We sing hallelujah. We worship You in spirit and in truth. Thank You for the mercy that You have shown us time after time. Oh, Lord how majestic and holy You are. May we as Your children exemplify (to the world) Your great love, mercy and grace. Help us, as we continue to submit to You, show others the truth of a Christ filled and committed life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
