I love the lyrics to this song. We are to step into the water of His word. It is then that we draw closer to Him through the washing of His word. He alone can change the way we think. His ways are the right ways. We can wholeheartedly follow Him as He leads us in His word. How will we know what we are to stand up for if we do not read His word and spend time in His presence?
Father God,
How holy and righteous You are! How wonderful it is to spend time in Your presence. We love You and long to be closer to You. Help us to truly walk with You in all things may we be pleasing in Your sight. Oh, Lord may our hearts be right before You. May the things we think, say and do be what is right according to the truths that we know in Your word. Let our feet be firmly planted in Your truth so that we would not fall for any of the garbage in our world. May our eyes remain focused on You. You are our Hope, Truth and Righteousness. It is Your help we seek. On our own we are nothing but with You we can do all things. Help us to always remain in You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

It has been a relaxing weekend so far. We did some rummage sale shopping. Then I got to go to Hobby Lobby and buy some yarn and crochet hooks. That was fun. It was a nice day with my husband. The girls were at their biological mom’s house for the weekend. So he and I embrace the time we get to spend together.
I am thinking of making some patriotic crochet things to decorate the place up. I enjoy crocheting. I am working on a throw for one of my granddaughters. I am designing it myself. I wanted it to have a lot of textures. Looking good so far.

Thanks Wenda! 🙂 So far it has been challenging. Next time I will do squares that are textured. Might be easier to measure them that way with different stitch count and different weight yarn.
Crocheting is fun. Now with YouTube there is no limit to what can be made.

I think the squares are harder than just a double crochet. That is what I did mostly. I’m sure you’ll get it and it will be special for you. God bless you always! And it is always nice to be here!
