28 One of the scribes came and heard them reasoning together. Perceiving that Jesus had answered them well, he asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?”
Mark 12:28-34 MEV
29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is, ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord. 30 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
32 The scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, that there is one God and there is no other but Him. 33 To love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” After that, no one dared to ask Him any question.
What we need in this world is more of God in our homes. What do we need to be doing? I would say, “What did Jesus say in the Great Commission?” He said Go, make disciples and teach them to obey everything He commanded them.
First, we have to go. Go where? To other people wherever we are whether it is at the store, laundromat, workplace, gym…. wherever you are. Slow down and take the time to talk to others about Jesus. Teach people. Anyone within your reach. People are hungry for the truth, for hope and for strength. Teach them what Jesus has said in the Bible. This is no time to be shy. If you want to see a change in the world you have to be the change.
Father God,
You are everything to us. We want to please You because we love You. We love You because You love us so much. You have loved us before we even turned to You. There were no conditions on Your love. You just gave it freely. It is amazing to us that kind of love. We want to do as You have said. We want to love others and we want to tell others about You. We ask today for a boldness to speak the truth of Your word to anyone at any time. May we never be shy but always be led by Your precious Holy Spirit and do that which we know we should be doing. Forgive us for failing You in times past. Draw us closer to You and release Your power in us so that we can make a difference in this lost and hurting world. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
If you do not know Jesus but would like to know more about Him, including how you can be saved, please read the following blog titled, You Never Let Us Go. God bless. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/

Amen. Love conquers all. Have a nice day Jan. Is it warmer there now?
We went to a parade. Our 17 year old was playing the trumpet in her highschool band. They sounded pretty good. Twas a beautiful day. Close to 90 but wonderful with a strong wind. We were sitting under a tree. God is so good. He always provides everything we need.
Hugs 💜💜

So glad you were able to enjoy the parade and music. Sounds like a good day. We had rain and wind – but enjoyed a lovely Memorial Day lunch honoring veterans. So, it was a good day. God bless our Veterans and all military who serve (and served) to keep us free. God bless America! 🇺🇸❤️
