Jesus Gives New Life

32 And they were astonished at His teaching, for His word was with authority. 33 Now in the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon. And he cried out with a loud voice, 34 saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him. 36 Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”

Luke 4:32-36 NKJV

Jesus spoke and at His very word the demon had to leave. Jesus has all authority over the darkness. The demons know who He is and they tremble (James 2:19). We shouldn’t let problems, trials or terrors bother us. Our God will fight for us. We need only be still (Exodus 14:14).

Pray with me please.

Father God,
You are so awesome. You are holy. We worship You. Thank You so much for all Your many blessings. Thank You for Your love, care and protection. Help us to always and only turn to You in the face of adversity. May we find peace, the kind of peace that passes all understanding, in the midst of any and all storms. May we shine so bright for Your glory. May others see us and want what we have. Oh, what a great privilege to be Your children. Thank You for hearing our heart’s cry and for always being here for us. You are good. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

      1. It may not be quick. Good things come to those who wait … and work to achieve their goals, right? If it’s thorough and I get the use of that hand again, I’ll be ever so grateful! Thanks for your prayers, {{{Donna}}} 😊❤️🙏🏽
