Our Defender

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;
Let those also who love Your name
Be joyful in You.

Psalm 5:11 NKJV

 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

2 Chronicles 16:9 KJV

How awesome it is to know that God is our Defender. He loves us so much. There is nothing that we need to fear.

Pray with me please.

Father God,
We love You so much. We need Your help and direction. It is so good to know that You are our Defender. You fight for us. Thank You for the great love that You have for us. Thank You that Your eyes run to and from on the earth to show Yourself strong on our behalf. We know You are all powerful. Thank You for the ability to just rest in Your care. It is such a good feeling knowing that we are safe with You. Thank You for the strength that You give us to continue to live our lives in a manner that is pleasing to You. You are such a good Father. All of our needs You supply. We need You as our Defender in this world and we just want to say thank You for being that and so much more. Today, as we celebrate Father’s Day here on earth, we ask Your blessings and strength upon all dads represented in the lives of those reading and agreeing in prayer today. Draw them close to You. We ask for them to be the spiritual leaders of our homes that they need to be. Please flood our hearts and homes with Your great love, wisdom and power. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
