Guard Your Thoughts

The devising of foolishness is sin,
And the scoffer is an abomination to men.

Proverbs 24:9 NKJV

The very thought of wrongdoing is sin. The thought may become an action so we must pray and ask the Lord to guard our hearts. We must put forth the effort to study the word of God and to spend time in His presence. The mind is a powerful tool. So, we need to be careful what we feed it.

Pray with me please.

Father God,
What an extreme honor and privilege to come into Your presence. Every time we call upon You, we can rest assured that You hear us and You care. Thank You so much for Your protection. Forgive Your children for where we may have sinned and fallen short. We ask for Your great grace and mercy to cover us. Help us to show love, grace and mercy to others as well. Thank You for this life. May we fulfill Your will for it. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
