Jesus Gave His All

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

2 Corinthians 8:9 NKJV

Jesus left Heaven and all the glory and riches. He came to this earth and was born poor in a manger. He had swaddling clothes as a baby. This is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He left it all for us. He became poor for us. He gave His all to pay the sin debt of humanity.

Father God,
Thank You for Your great love and mercy. We cannot even begin to understand all that You have done for us and the great love that You have shown. Thank You for Your word. You always bring such clarity to us. There are so many things for us to ponder. May we all meditate today on the great love You have shown us. Help us to shine Your light to all that You have placed in our paths. We need You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
