31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
John 8:31-36 NKJV
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can you say, ‘You will be made free’?”
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.
35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.
36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
Today is the day that we celebrate freedoms that we have here in America. A lot of people want to come to America for the freedoms that we have. We have the freedom to voice our opinions. We have freedom to vote for whoever we want to vote for. We can live or travel anywhere here. We have the freedom to marry and raise a family.
We have so many freedoms and we should never take them for granted. A lot of good men and women died to protect our freedoms. I am very happy that the Lord put me in the United States of America. We are taught in His word to be thankful in all things (1 Thessalonians 5:18). God is great and greatly to be praised (Psalm 96:4).
As Christians we celebrate our freedom in Christ. We were once bound and in bondage to sin, but Christ set us free (Romans 6:20-23). Knowing Jesus gives us eternal life with Him. Our freedom in Him reaches beyond this life. Upon accepting Him, we then have a desire to serve Him and a freedom to do so.
Of all of the freedoms to be desired, none is more important than the freedom we have in Christ. Have you found freedom in Him?
If you do not know Jesus but would like to know more about Him, including how you can be saved, please read the following blog titled, You Never Let Us Go. God bless. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/

Father God,
We come before You are acknowledging that You are God and there is no other. We declare that You are all powerful. You are sovereign. You are above all and You know all. You have given us so many things to be thankful for. We thank You today for the freedoms that we still have in America. We pray against the enemy trying to tear us apart with all of his cunning devices. We ask that You would unite Your children to do what You have ordained for us to do. We want to accomplish Your will for our lives. We love to serve You and want to continually grow in You. Help us to always do and say the right things for the right reasons. Most of all we thank You today for the freedom that You gave us in Christ. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
Amen. “none is more important than the freedom we have in Christ. Have you found freedom in Him?”

Freedom in Christ is amazing, fulfilling, and worth losing anything else for. It’s such a unique feeling that I cannot easily express. But it reminds me that I need to give back to God by helping Him free my brothers and sisters. Sometimes I feel I want to make up for the years I was in bondage by making sure I do whatever it takes to save a soul. Life in the Spirit is beautiful.

Just rest. Ask God to guide you in all things. He will put in your path those that He wants you to witness to. He is so great and He is so good to His children. It is not His will that any should perish. He is so merciful and loving.
Thanks for stopping by the Father’s feet today. I pray you were blessed. Nice to meet you.
