I cried out to God with my voice—
Psalm 77:1-2 NKJV
To God with my voice;
And He gave ear to me.
2 In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord;
My hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing;
My soul refused to be comforted.
The psalmist may it clear by saying it twice that it is to God that he cries out to. The great news is the next line, “And He gave ear to me.” God is there for us. He is listening to us. He cares for us. So many times, we turn to family or friends when the One we should be turning to is the Lord God Almighty.
Father God,
Thank You for being there for us. Thank You for caring so much about us and for being there even in the small details. You care and You hear us. How wonderful to know that You are the One and Only Living God. You are the Light of our lives. You have given us so many things. Indeed, You have blessed Your children abundantly. Thank You for Your love and mercy. Thank You that You listen to us. We can trust You with everything. Praise Your holy name forever. You are good. Hallelujah. May Your name be glorified. May we always turn to You first of all. Rock this earth by Your great power living in us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

If you do not know Jesus but would like to know more about Him, including how you can be saved, please read the following blog titled, You Never Let Us Go. God bless. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/
