Our Everlasting Light

Arise, shine, for your light has come,
    and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land,
    nor devastation or destruction within your borders;
but you shall call your walls Salvation
    and your gates Praise.
19 The sun shall no longer be your light by day,
    nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;
but the Lord shall be an everlasting light to you
    and your God for your glory.
20 Your sun shall no more go down,
    nor shall your moon wane;
for the Lord shall be your everlasting light,
    and the days of your mourning shall end.

Isaiah 60:1 & 18-20 MEV
Pray with me please.

Father God,
How wonderful it is to read Your promises and to know that Your word is true. You never change. You are good. Thank You for lighting our path. Where would we be without You? We would be lost and hopeless. Thank You for Your great Salvation. May we resonate Your truths to this world that You love so much. You gave Your all. May we be found faithfully giving our all to the very end. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
