God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. 21 So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Father God,
Every day is a new opportunity to be thankful. You have done so many good things for Your children. Thank You for Your hand of protection over us. Thank You for loving us. You are so amazing. We ask that You plant Your word deep in our hearts and minds. Cleanse us and we shall be whiter than snow. Please have Your way in our homes. May Your glorious light shine through us. May we always think, say and do that which is pleasing in Your sight. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
