Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.

Father God,
Thank You so much for helping us. Thank You for being at work in us. Thank You for making us into usable vessels for Your kingdom. Please cleanse us and we shall be whiter than snow. We ask that Your word always be on our mind and that we would be ready to answer anyone according to the truths therein. Help us to work toward complete holiness. May we always deny the flesh and the lusts it craves. We can only accomplish this with Your help and by the power of Your Holy Spirit living in us. Save us from ourselves and draw us closer to You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
