I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Galatians 2:20 NLT
A Christian’s sin is under the blood of Christ (that is why we want to try so hard as to not sin). Our worldly and fleshly desires are under the blood of Christ (that is why we even pray that our desires would be honoring to Him). We no longer seek selfish desires. We seek to do that which is honoring in the sight of the Lord. The old way of thinking and acting is gone, and we now think upon that which is good (His word) and act in ways which we know that is right (according to His word). We fail, yes, but we get back up and we try again. He is with us. He is for us. He loves us.
Father God,
Thank You that we are free from the law. We are alive in You! Thank You that therefore now is no condemnation to those who are in Christ, those who do not walk after the flesh but after Your Spirit (John 5:24 & Romans 8:1). We are dead to the old ways, and we are alive in You. What a wonderful life we have in You. Just like the old hymn states, we have joy unspeakable and full of glory. Your grace is complete. You supply our every need. You are awesome. We love You! Help us to live our lives completely ALIVE in You. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray.

If you do not know Jesus but would like to know more about Him, including how you can be saved, please read the following blog titled, You Never Let Us Go. God bless. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/
Love this! Great praise and worship! Let us praise our God, today! Blessings, Donna!

Yes, “We seek to do that which is honoring in the sight of the Lord.” Therefore we do not honor this “holiday” prompted by witches and ghosts and goblins! I loved it as a kid. I didn’t know any better!

Amen Jan. You are so right. I pray a lot more people would wake up to the damage that this man-made holiday does. It is very dangerous to play in the devil’s playground. I used to take my children before I knew better. Now they still celebrate, and it makes me so sad. God open all of Your children’s eyes is my plea. Thanks for your comment. Sending hugs and love your way. ❤

My pastor gave me fresh insight today. She said we can mock death because with Jesus we overcame it. Maybe that is one way of looking at this “holiday!”

Yes and amen. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! He is worthy of all praise. He is good, merciful, loving and kind. Praise the Lord.
Blessings Cindy! Hugs.
