Cleansed to Serve

13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Hebrews 9:13-14 NASB

Oh, the precious blood of Christ that He shed for our freedom. Oh, what immeasurable love that He gave to all who would believe. His precious blood is able to purify the soul (1 John 1:7). His blood is able to redeem us (Ephesians 1:7). His blood allows the Holy Spirit to renew us. He takes away all the sin and pours His holiness into us, thereby making us bold and confidant in Him and what our duty is while on this earth (Ephesians 3:12). He supplies our every need (Philippians 4:19).

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Romans 12:1 NIV
Pray with me please.

Father God,
We thank You so much for the precious blood of Jesus Christ. What extreme love You have for all mankind. Thank You for the blessing of being called Your children. Thank You for giving us the power to live righteous lives. We may make mistakes, but You are right there to pick us up again and again. Help us to grow in You. We do not ever want to purposely sin. Oh, how we wish we didn’t ever do anything wrong. We know what an amazing sacrifice that You gave on the cross. Help us to do our best every day. May we grow and learn more and more. We ask for Your strength to power us. May we all walk and talk in the truth at all times. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
